Synopsis: In Sophie O’Connor’s absorbing, sensual drama, an ambitious, beautiful and tightly wound history student – who is also an Olympics-bound swimmer – falls in love with the girlfriend of her thesis advisor. The protagonist is surprisingly drawn into a sexual underworld and is submerged in feelings that she doesn’t understand. Lily Hall’s performance powerfully captures the transformation in this  memorable “Generation Y” love story.

Filmmaker Bio: Sophie O’Connor started her career in the arts in 1998, after graduating from the Ballarat Academy of Performing Arts. For the next eight years, she worked the theater and festival circuit in Australia and internationally. Sophie’s short film Run with the ball and die with your boots on won an award at the 2008 Melbourne International Film Festival. She has also directed, produced, and edited a yet-to-be released feature length documentary.
